Palm Sugar Candy is popularly known as Panagkalkandu in Tamil Nadu is a cube of crystallized sugar, chemically, made from the flower of the palm tree. Panagkalkandu is made by tapping sap from the palm tree’s inflorescence. Boil it until the syrup reaches a level, then stir the mixture into the open air. These crystals are finally made into the desired shapes and sizes.
