Description
Senna is a small, woody perennial shrub that typically grows between 0.5 to 1 meter in height. It is widely found across India and is known for its small, yellow flowers arranged in clusters that bloom at the ends of branches or from leaf axils. Each flower features five petals and sepals, along with ten stamens and one pistil. While the flowers are not fragrant, the plant produces a unique, horned, flat legume fruit approximately 2 inches long, containing about six seeds.
