Description

Jamun (Syzygium cumini), also known as Naval or Indian Blackberry, is a tropical tree native to the Indian subcontinent. It can grow up to 30 meters tall and is known for its long life span and distinctive bark. The tree produces small, fragrant flowers in the spring, followed by dark purple, oblong berries.

The seeds from these berries are dried and ground into a fine powder using traditional methods. Jamun seed powder has long been valued in traditional wellness practices and is commonly used in culinary and herbal preparations.
