Description

It is one of the oldest spices in the world belongs to the botanical family of Elettaria Cardamomum. Originating in the forests of the Western Ghats in South India, this herb is widely used for flavor and taste in various countries. It is widely cultivated in Indochina, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Guatemala.

The ancient Egyptians proved that the cardamom seeds were cleansed the teeth by grinding the seeds, and the Romans and Greeks used it as a spice.
