Dried Indian Gooseberry / Amla

Gooseberry is a naturally growing shrub up to 1.5 m tall and wide. They are densely set with sharp spines, and the dorsal branches are classified into two types as the primary and the lateral branches. These Gooseberry shrubs are normally solitary. They have rounded, deeply curved leaves, and these shrubs carry groups of leaves up to 3 or 5 times. The flowers are solitary or bushy, and they are beautiful to look at. Indian Gooseberry is smaller than the wild gooseberry. Gooseberry, though small, is often flavorful. The berries are usually light green, with various colors of red, yellow, and white.
