How do I know it is real sandalwood?
Real chandan smell is soft, woody and persistent โ it stays on the skin after rinsing. Perfumed fakes smell loud at first and vanish. Ours is heartwood-ground and dated.
Red sandalwood or this one?
White/yellow sandal (this) is the fragrant cooling one for face and prayer. Red sandalwood (rakta chandan, also in our store) is unscented and used purely for skin packs.
