For families who grind their own: whole amukkara kilangu — sun-dried mature ashwagandha roots exactly as they leave the soil. Whole roots hold potency far longer than powder and let you brew the traditional kashayam or mill fresh, batch by batch.
Why Malaysians order this
- Whole roots keep potency 2–3× longer than pre-ground powder
- Grind fresh at home for maximum strength per dose
- Brews directly into traditional kashayam decoction
- Visibly gradeable — you can see the root quality you paid for
How to use
Frequently asked questions
Why choose whole root over your powder?
Longevity and control. Powder is convenience; whole root is potency insurance — the oils and actives stay sealed until you grind or brew.
How do I judge root quality?
Good amukkara root is pale inside, snaps cleanly, and smells distinctly earthy-animal. Ours is mature-harvest, and yes, it passes the snap test.
