Maakal dosa Tawa is a natural toxin-free dosa Kal. We can use this Tawa to prepare a variety of dosas and also for flavoring purposes. There is no chemical added while making this Tawa, so the food cooked in stone Tawa, gives an outstanding taste. As per the traditional format, this Tawa seasoned perfectly for ten days.
Dosa Kal is crafted by a sculpturer who is involved in the professional manufacturing company. The color of the dosa Kal is varying from gray to black depends on the seasoning method. It has a rounded flat surface end with two handles. The size of the dosa Kal is 11 inches.
Method of usage:
We can place the Tawa directly on the flame. It is suited to the traditional wooden stove, and also Gas stove.
Start with the low flame while cooking.
Wash the stone Tawa with hot water.
Wipe the excess water in Tawa.
Place it on Gas/traditional stove.
Once the Tawa gained enough heat, need to keep on the flame at a low level while cooking.
Apply oil on the surface before start cooking.
In seasoned dosa Kal, the heat is transferred eventually. Thus helps to keep the anti-oxidant level of the food.
Nutrients of the food is preserved.
Tawa retains the heat for a long time even we switched off the flame. Thus helps to save fuel energy.
