The tea is harvested from traditional and reputed estates of Assam. The leaves are medium-sized, rolled, and brownish-black with taupe buds.

The tea is medium-bodied and has a sweet note at the start which turns to a strong tannic flavor. In the middle, the woody notes are dominant along with hints of malt and nuts that give a fleeting appearance and aftertaste. It is finished with tree fruit notes.
