Kal Chatti is an organic, eco-friendly product. It is handcrafted by the rural artisans without any help from automated machines, so the dimensions are approx.
It is entirely natural, with no added chemicals, thus make the food tastier. As of chemically inert, it doesn’t change the ingredients flavor or its original aroma.
The main purpose of this Kal chatti is to keep the batter; that’s why it is called as Mavu Chatti. You can also cook curries, pulses, Sambar, Rasam, and vegetables in good volume.
This Kal chatti distributes the heat evenly in the chatti during the cooking, thus make your cooking process easier and faster.

Steps/ cautions before using
Take one teaspoon of turmeric powder with castor oil or any other oil. Mic it well like a paste and apply it in the vessel from top to bottom and keep it for 24 hrs.
To habituating the chatti, you need to put rice starch water, which is mixed with water. It is called a mixture.
On the second day, heat the mixture and pour it in a chatti till the top and keep it for 24 hours.
On the third day, warm the same mixture in another utensil and put it in the Stoneware.
Repeat this process for the next three days.
The final day, if rice-cooked kanji is poured on the outside, that remains nonstick, which means you can use the chatti regularly.
Once this process is finished, Stoneware’s will have a natural nonstick surface so that you can cook without any oil, unlike the coated nonstick.
Once the chatti is habituated perfectly, it will be last for many years.
Method of usage
You can store the chatti in a usual gas banner.
Use the low flame for kal chatti cooking.
Your regular washing process can use for this chatti.
With dishwasher or soap with a scrub, you can clean it.
