Malaysia cooks with asam gelugor; South India dries its close cousin kodampuli โ the intensely sour garcinia fruit that flavours Kerala fish curry and anchors the modern weight-conscious tradition. Whole dried rind, stone-milled.
Why Malaysians order this
- The garcinia of the weight-management tradition, unextracted
- Kitchen-legitimate: the authentic Kerala fish-curry sour
- Cousin to the asam gelugor Malaysians already trust
- Whole rind milling โ fruit acids as the fruit made them
How to use
Frequently asked questions
Is this the diet-pill garcinia?
It is the whole fruit those extracts chase โ used as tradition used it: food-first, modest, consistent, with realistic expectations and actual meals.
Same as asam gelugor?
Sibling species of one sour family โ gelugor is G. atroviridis, this is G. gummi-gutta. Your tongue will recognise the kinship immediately.
