Zedoary root is used in traditional Tibetan, Chinese, and Unani medicine. Zedoary root contains carminative, antiseptic, deodorant, expectorant, stimulant, and diuretic properties. Zedoary root helps to treat fever, cough, cold, and rheumatism dyspepsia. It also acts as a mosquito repellant.
