What is Deodar?

Deodar is a tall, evergreen coniferous tree that can grow from 4,921 feet to 10,499 feet above sea level. The Botanical Name of Deodar Cedar is Cedrus Deodara which is one of the thickest trees belonging to Pinaceae family.

Deodar Tree is the National Tree of Pakistan. The tree has drooping branchlets and level branches with trunks of 197 feet and 10 feet in diameter and has a conical crown.

20-30 dense clusters on short shoots vary from bright green to glossy blue-green.
