Ways to Consume Almonds in Daily Life

Soaked Almonds

Ingredients : 

  • Almonds – Required amount
  • Water – Required amount
  • Raisins – Required amount (optional)
  • Dried Dates – Required amount (optional)

Procedure: Put the required amount of almonds in a bowl and add water until those nuts are sink, then let it soak overnight. The next morning, squeeze the almond nuts to peel the skin and separate them. The extracted almonds can be eaten alone or with raisins and dried dates. Thus eating almonds on an empty stomach in the morning will reduce the increase of beta in the blood and bring its level under control. *When frozen almonds are simply eaten without soaking, they are more likely to worsen the level of beta in the blood.*

Almond Milk

Ingredients : 

  • Almonds – Required amount
  • Water – 5 cups

Procedure: Let a cup of almonds soak for about 8 to 12 hours in one cup of water, peel its skin after ensuring that the almonds are fully soaked. Soaking almonds softens its skin and improves its ability to control bile. Put the peeled almonds in a blender and add the remaining 4 cups of water and grind well until soft. The finely grinded mixture should be filtered separately using a strainer, cheesecloth, or nut milk bag to separate the liquid and solids. The liquid thus extracted is called almond milk. Rich in minerals, protein, and vitamins, this milk can be sweetened or mixed with any other ingredient.

Ingredients : 

  • Raw Almonds – 1/2 cup
  • Rolled Oats – 2 cups
  • Dried Cranberries – 1/4 cup
  • Dried Dates – 1/4 cup
  • Raisins – 1/4 cup
  • Sunflower Seeds – 1/4 cup
  • Flax Seeds – 1/4 cup
  • Dried Fig – 1/4 cup
  • Honey – 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Procedure: Chopped almonds, oats, cranberries, grapes, dried figs, sunflower seeds, dates, flaxseed should all be taken in a wide bowl. Add honey, almond butter, and sweet vanilla extract to this content and mix well. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 350 F. Then take a long baking tray and spread ghee or oil on it, pour the mixture of essential ingredients on this plate, and heat it in the oven for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes take it out of the oven and cut it into pieces with a knife. The mixture can be eaten after it cools.
